A players character sheet is meant to keep a running total of how much gold they own during their campaign.

If a character ever gains any amount of gold, it is added to their character sheet. by increase the total amount of gold there based on how much was gained.

When a character loses money or spends money (usually on items), decrease the total amount of gold on their character sheet by however much gold they spent/lost.
