Immediately: Right after you finish the current thing you are doing. See the Timing section for more details.

Immune: Invulnerable to a trait. Characters may not use a trait against a card that’s immune to it. See the Encountering a Card section for more details.

Invoke: Have a specific trait or deal a specific damage type. See the Invokes section for more details.

Item: A type of boon card. See the Item section for more details.

Legendary: A challenge mode. See the Normal, Heroic, and Legendary Mode section for more details.

Level: The number on the upper right corner of each card. See the Level section for more details.

Local: At your location. See the Local and Distant section for more details.

Location: A card describing a place, and its associated stack of cards you can encounter in that place. See the Locations section for more details.

Loot: A trait on certain cards rewarded to you by a scenario. See the Loot section for more details.

Mark: Place a marker on a card, typically because of a scourge. See the Markers section for more details.

Modifier: The number you add to a die roll. See the Skills, Dice, and Modifiers section for more details.

Monster: A type of bane card. See the Monster section for more details.

Move: Put your character at a different location. See the Moving section for more details.

New: Pulled from the vault during play. See the Summoned Cards and New Cards section for more details.

Non-Closing Henchman: A type of henchman which, when defeated, does not let you attempt to close your location. See the Story Bane section for more details.

Normal: A challenge mode. See the Normal, Heroic, and Legendary Mode section for more details.

Owner: A trait that lets a specific character treat that card as level 0. See the Owner Trait section for more details.
