To win, you must build 3 traps ( blue markers) and then perform a special Hunt Action to capture King Kong.
You lose if the director dies. Additionally, you cannot win while the actress has been captured by King Kong.
Start with the camp token already on the Shelter side.
The scenario lasts 10 rounds.
During the Weather Phase, roll the red (Hungry Animals) die once for each numbered token on the board. Each time the Palisade would be reduced below 0 by this roll, instead:
1. Each character takes 1 Wound.
2. Reduce Morale by 1.
3. The living film crew member with the lowest number dies. Place a black marker on the appropriate space on the scenario sheet. (Note: The actress does not die; see below.)
Book: The living film crew member with the lowest number dies. Place a black marker on the appropriate space on the scenario sheet and reduce Morale by 1. (Note: The actress does not die; see below.)
Totem: Each icon represents one of King Kong’s lairs. Place a numbered token here.
To capture King Kong, you must have already built 3 traps in previous rounds. Perform a special Hunt Action using 2 pawns. The action reduces your Weapon rating by 5 (or 1 if you use the Tranquilizer).
If the actress would be killed, instead she is captured. Place a black marker on her space on the scenario sheet. You can’t win the game while the actress is captured.
To rescue her, perform a special Explore Action on the tile with the Totem icon numbered 4 (if you haven’t yet found four Totem icons, you must Explore until you do). To resolve the Action, draw 1 Mystery card and only resolve Beast. Remove the black marker from the actress.
During the Production Phase, if the camp is on an Island tile which has a Totem icon, each player takes 1 Wound.
Trap: Place a trap ( blue marker) on a tile which has a Totem icon, either at the camp or up to 2 spaces away (requiring additional pawns if not on or adjacent to the camp, as normal). There is a limit of 1 trap per tile. This invention can be built multiple times.
Tranquilizer: Special Hunt Actions to capture King Kong reduce your Weapon rating by 1 instead of 5.
Bottle of vodka: Increase Morale by 1.
Giant footprint: Gain a green (Explore) Action pawn for a single use on one round only.
Firecracker: Ignore one result on the red die.
Film-maker’s lost item: Immediately gain the advantage shown on the space for the lowest-numbered film-maker who is still alive (uncaptured).
