Players starting locations
In turn order, select a character icon on one of your pawns and position it face up beside one of the 6 starting locations circled in pink. Immediately place an influence marker from your personal supply onto the 5 veneration points (vp) hexagon in the guild bearing the same icon as your pawn. If the hexagon is occupied, place it on the 3 veneration points (vp) hexagon.
You are now ready to play the basic or advanced game.
