For vertical assembly, place the Control Board bottom (card stock without Population Cube holes) on the Species Tray lid , with the [A] face-up in the bottom left corner. Next place the Control Board top (punchboard with Population Cube holes) on the Control Board bottom with the [A] in the bottom left corner.

For horizontal assembly, place the Control Board bottom and top with the [B] in the upper left corner.
