Each player takes 3 of each Level 1 Energy Cads (P, S & C).

Then each player take one Level 2 Energy Card that matches that players Hero's Specialty.

Each player shuffles their Energy Cards and places them to the left of their Player board face down.

Each player reveals 5 cards from the top of their decks and places them on their Player boards, to form their starting Hand of cards.

Energy Cards are always visible to everyone.

The remaining Level 1 Energy Cards will not be used in the game and are returned to the game box.
