The Fighter effect is printed on the Sequence board.
A Each of the 7 Fighters provide the same effects when boarded: Maneuver and/or attack in any order.
B Strafe (Fighter ability): Each time you destroy a Voidborn ship during your attack with the Fighter, you can choose to immediately move the Fighter to an adjacent sector or stay in place. You may not store these movements to use later. These movements are not considered a maneuver, so no ability can add more steps to them.
Example: Emily
is sending her Cadet to a Fighter in Sector 6 1, and resolves the ship’s maneuver first, moving 1 step to the adjacent Sector 7 2. She now resolves the Fighter’s attack, dealing 1 damage in her current sector 3. After this, she decides to use the Strafe ability of the Fighter, so she moves to the adjacent Sector 8 4. Her Cadet has the Tactician card attached 5, whose bottom ability adds 1 extra damage to her attack 6 . She decides to use it 7, and then use Strafe again to move back to Sector 7 8.
