Tactics encompasses your experience in combat, your understanding of the current battlespace, and the respect that comes with it. It is not a tangible currency, but unwise to underestimate.
Tactics is a special asset that is tracked on the Sequence board.
When you gain 1 Tactics, move your player marker one step to the right on the Tactics track. When your marker ends up on a space with another marker, place it on top and don’t change their order. You have a limit of 12 Tactics. If you are already on the last step of the track, you cannot advance further.
When you reach Step 3 or 6 of the Tactics track, immediately gain 1 Material. When you reach Step 12, immediately gain 1 Neutronium.
Note 1: Each Cycle, the turn order will change based on current Tactics (see Recall Phase).
Note 2: You never spend Tactics, although your Tactics reset after a Hyperjump (see Hyperjump Phase).
