Do I gain a Dinosaur, if I roll the Wound with the Wrangler Die?

Yes
You always gain at least 1 Dinosaur, when placing Ranchers on the Free Range Dinos action spaces. When you roll the Wound, you must place the Dinosaur to your Medical Leave.
