You can use Actions to exchange a Resource you currently have with something different.

- General Actions can be used during the Preparation Step of the Travel Phase and during the Battle Step of the Combat Phase.

- Travel Actions can only be used during the Preparation Step of the Travel Phase.

- Combat Actions can only be used during your turn in the Battle Step.

Available Actions are described on the Actions Sheet, your Character Sheet, Skill Cards, and any other cards currently in play. For each action you take, you must spend the listed resources. If you don’t have the resources, you cannot take the action.
