Exploration cards allow players to draw Shapes with a specific Terrain type on their Maps.

There are a total of 6 Terrain types: Forest, Village, Farm, Water, Monster and Mountain.

Mountains are the only Terrain that players can't draw on their maps. They are already pre-drawn on their Maps.

Terrain types are important for the sake of Scoring cards, that earn players reputation.
