The map playmat is the central focus of battle in Wroth.
The map consists of REGIONS that are separated from each other by a thick white line. Regions on this map are considered ADJACENT to each other if they share a common border, or if they are connected to each other by a land bridge with a double-ended arrow on it. The adjacency of regions is important because when troops move, they must move between adjacent regions, and some actions allow factions to deal damage to adjacent regions. Each region is randomly assigned a VP token at the beginning of the game. This shows how many victory points that region is worth each round. Some VP tokens also provide a bonus action to that region’s controller. A region’s VP token generally does not change during a game.
