One player rolls all of the action dice to form a DRAFT POOL.
Each die, depending on its result, allows a particular action to be performed in the Action Phase. For example, the Mine ( ) face allows a player to take one Corra from the stockpile, the Extend ( ) face allows a player to deploy two basic troops, and so on.
Once the dice have been rolled, starting with the first player, each player drafts one of the dice from the pool and puts it on their faction playmat without changing its face.
Players take dice this way, in order, clockwise around the table, until each player has two. Then, the player with the fewest victory points takes a third die, the last one left in the pool. If there is a tie for fewest victory points, no player takes a third die.
TWO-PLAYER DICE DRAFTING
In a standard mode game with two players, each player drafts three dice instead of two in the Draft Phase. The last die goes to the player with the lowest victory point score as normal, unless players are tied, in which case neither takes it.
