The Imp has the lowest encounter number so it must be resolved first. The Dwarf rolls a 4, so the Imp teleports the Dwarf to the Ruins before they have a chance to fight the bear and take the gold. The bear and gold cards are left faceup on the Hidden Valley and will constitute two of the three cards for the next character to land there. The Dwarf, however, continues their turn with a new encounter in the Ruins.
