Are there any special rules at the beginning of the game?
Yes
For the first round only, the first player may only take 3 actions. The last player in turn order may take 5 actions, during the first round only. Consider this the last player advantage.

Can I look through the Destination card discard pile during the game?
No
When the Passenger arrives at a station, the Destination token on that station is removed from the board and the corresponding Destination card is placed on a discard pile. The discard pile CANNOT be inspected during the game.

Yes
For each line that the Passenger uses to travel, the player owning that line scores 1 point.

Does the length of the use lines influence the amount of points the Passenger will provide?
No
The number of Track tokens making up a line doesn't matter, only the number of different lines used. Each line used generates 1 point, regardless of the number of Track tokens in it.

The Passenger selects which route to take by following the a set of 2 rules in this sequence - The Passenger will choose the route that involves the least amount of empty track spaces & then the route that with the fewest (or even no) lines. Sometimes, it might happen that the Passenger to take a route that won't use any of the lines.
Does the length of the lines that the Passenger uses matter?

Because the length of the lines the Passenger chooses to use doesn't matter, it means that the Passenger won't always take the shortest route! This is important to remember.
Will the Passenger always take the shortest route to its Destination?
No
The Passenger selects which route to take by following the a set of 2 rules in this sequence - The Passenger will choose the route that involves the least amount of empty track spaces & then the route that with the fewest (or even no) lines. Sometimes, it might happen that the Passenger has to take a very long line.
Can a player choose which route the Passenger will take?
Usually no
If two or more routes involve the same number of empty track spaces and the same number of lines, the player moving the Passenger decides which route is taken.
How is the Passenger route selected?

Can the Passenger visit multiple Destination in a single turn?
Yes
The Passenger will visit 1 or 2 of those stations each turn. If there are both Express and Standard stations currently available, the Passenger will first move to 1 Express station and then again to 1 Standard station.

Why some stations are connected by multiple Track spaces?
Some stations are connected by multiple Track spaces. There can be up to as many Track tokens placed between stations as there are Track spaces available. Each Track token placed there must be of a different colour.

What happens at the end of a turn?
After all Passenger movements are completed, new cards are drawn to replace those removed from the game so that there are again 4 Destination cards facing up. The appropriate Destination token (Express / Standard) are then placed on the stations corresponding to the newly revealed cards.

Connection stations are available only on the London map. Players score 3 points when they join two identical Connection tiles with a single line. Connecting a line to a single Connection tile doesn't provide points to players. In order to score 3 points from the same Connection stations a player must join both of their tiles with lines of different colour.

Terminus stations award 2 points as well as 1 Branch tile each time a player connects their line to them for the first time. It is possible for the same player to get points from the same Terminus station multiple time, but they need to connect different lines to them. On the London map there are only 2 Terminus stations with multiple track spaces near them.

Players score 1 point each time they connect a line to a National Rail station for the first time. This means that the same National Rail stations must have different colour Trak tokens connecting to it. If the a National Rail station has 2 Track tokens of the same colour connected to it from both sides, the player score only 1 point, for connecting that colour line to the National Rail station.

You can NEVER have more than one line of a single color on the map. That means that the first Track token can be placed anywhere on the map, while the following ones must be connected to the allready present line.

Why does the number of Track tokens differ for some colours?
It is intentional that there are different number of track token of different colours. There are 20 each of red, black, yellow, blue, and purple track tokens and 15 each of pink, orange, green, brown, white, and grey track tokens in the game.
