Great Old One Powers

Difficulty order of Great Old Ones: – Nyarlathotep, Yog-Sothoth, Yig, then Cthulhu.

A more in depth look at the powers the Great Old Ones. The powers are broken down into three areas Blue, Red, and Green. When the Great Old One power is trigger it will be color based and you will trigger the matching color power.

Nyarlathotep — The Span of Control symbol directs you to check the Town Card the Great Old One is on and the Town Cards to the left and to the right. Move a shambler of the matching color Blue, Red, or Green from the Shambler Mat to one, two, or three Town Cards where none are present of that color.

Yog-Sothoth — The Span of Control symbol directs you to check the Town Card the Great Old One is on and the Town Cards to the left and to the right. Any player that is located on these three Town Cards will have to discard a Page Card with a matching color Rune to the discard pile.

Yig — The Span of Control symbol directs you to check the Town Card the Great Old One is on and the Town Cards to the left and to the right. Any player that is located on these three Town Cards must remove the matching Tentacles from their Player Mats and move the Tentacles to the Shambler Mat.

Cthulhu — The Span of Control symbol directs you to check the Town Card the Great Old One is on and the Town Cards to the left and to the right. All players that are located on these three Town Cards must distribute all the Tentacles of the matching color (Blue, Red, or Green) from the Shambler Mat between them. The distribution will start with the active player and then go in player order. Each player will get one Tentacle in round robin fashion. Once a player becomes Accursed the distribution stops and any remaining Tentacles would go back to the Shambler Mat. The Accursed player will follow the normal rules for becoming Accursed.
