When dueling with the Rival, do the multiplayer dueling rules apply (such as revealing my Poker Card to add its power)?
Yes
When dueling in a solo game, you can use both the solo and the multiplayer rules to reroll your die, the Rival's die or reveal your Poker Card.

Yes
You can place a Posse Token on porch slot, which belongs to a player, even if this porch slot does not provide you any placement spot benefits. However, the owner of the Location Mat does not receive 1 gold.

When my Building Card is used, do I gain 1 gold immediately?
Yes
You gain 1 gold immediately after your building is used, even if the building's ability would be activated later (for example, during Phase Three or Four).

If the Rival should place its Posse Token on a Location Mat where it already has its Posse Token, it instead places at the next clockwise Mat that does not have one of its Posse Tokens.
Does the Rival buy 2 Building Cards, if it has placed its Posse Token on the "Leftover" spot?
No
Since the Rival cannot activate any placement spots, it does not gain this benefit either.
Does the Rival gain any benefits from placement spots or Building Cards when placing a Posse Token?
No
When does the Rival place its 3rd Posse Token?
When you place 3rd
The Rival places one of its Posse Token EACH time after you place yours. So if you place 3 Posse Tokens during a round, the Rival will also place 3 Posse.
If there is a tie for a Majority of an industry, do the Minority shareholders of this industry gain any points ?
No
Tied players all gain the listed number of points, however if there is a tie for Majority, no points are rewarded to the Minority shareholder(s).

If the game ends do to running out of building cards, do we still need to advance the industry token during this round?
Yes
Advancing of an industry token happens before dealing new building cards, so the game can end only after an industry token has already been advanced for this round.

Can the game end earlier than after 6 rounds?
Yes
The game ends after six rounds OR immediately if the Building Card deck runs out resulting in any empty "buy slots" that cannot be refilled.

Do the Building Cards, placed during setup into neutral porch slots, remain unchanged during the entire game?
No
If at the end of each round the "buy slot" Building Card at the Sheriff's Office, or in 1-3 player games a Location Mat of an unused color, has been bought it is replaced by the Building Card at the "porch slot" from that Mat. A new Building Card is then dealt to the "porch slot" of that Mat.

If I gain the third posse benefit, do I get to place 3 posse on ALL subsequent rounds?
No
When you stand up your 3rd Posse, this Posse is now usable in the next round only. You must gain this benefit again to use the 3rd Posse in a round after the next round.

If I have already paid influence to gain a Phase 3/4 benefit with a posse and then this posse gets wounded, do I get my paid influence back?
No
A wounded posse cannot gain benefits in Phase 3 and Phase 4, and if you have paid influence to gain such a benefit, you don't get it back (this may be relevant when resolving the Post Office building ability, which lets you win the Town Hall hand for 2 influence).

Can I use my poker card multiple times in a round?
No
If your card is faceup because it has been used in a duel this round, you cannot use it in a duel anymore (but you will use it during Phase 3 and Phase 4).

Yes
You can reroll any number of times in a duel, paying 1 influence for each reroll.

Who wins ties in a duel?
Defender
If the attacker and the defender have the same amount of power, the defender wins the duel.

If I change my poker card's value at the Sheriff's Office, does this change the card when dueling?
No
Card modifications do not take effect until Phase Three, and therefore, are not taken into consideration for dueling.

After I place my posse, can I choose not to gain a placement spot benefit?
Yes
Placement spot benefits are optional (you may choose not to activate another player's building to deny them 1 gold, for example).

If I place my posse on a player's porch slot, but don't use the building's ability, does the building's owner gain 1 gold?
No
A building's owner gains 1 gold only if the building is used. If a player places their posse and loses in a duel, the building is not activated, so 1 gold is not awarded. Also, after placing their posse, a player may choose not to use the building.

Yes
When a building is used by ANY player, the building's owner gains 1 gold.

No
When you use any player's building, this player gains 1 gold, but this gold is not deducted from you.

Can I place a 2nd posse token, if I already have my posse on a different placement spot on the same location mat?
Yes
There is no limit for the number of your posse tokens on a location mat (however, you cannot have 2 of your standing posse tokens on the same placement spot).
Can I place a 2nd posse token on a placement spot with my posse?
Only if wounded
Players cannot place a second Posse Token where they already have one, unless the Posse they already have there is wounded. Two standing Posse Tokens of the same color can never share a single placement spot.
Are double-sided placement spots with two options considered to be a single placement spot?
Yes
Despite having two options, such a placement spot is still considered one - you cannot have 2 standing posse on it (and placing 2 posse of different players starts a duel).
Are discarded cards public information?
No
Discarded poker cards should be placed in a FACEDOWN discard pile, without revealing them to other players.
Do we use different poker cards each round?
No
During Phase 1 before dealing, ALL Poker Cards from the previous round, including the one at the Rival space, should be collected and shuffled into the deck,.
Do wounded posse tokens participate in poker hands?
Yes
ALL Posse Tokens at a Location Mat are eligible to collect the Winner's Pot.

Each Winner's Pot is distributed only once.

The order of the cards adjacent to a single location does not matter; players may consider any arrangement of these cards when making their poker hand.

If I'm the only player with a posse token on a location mat, do I automatically win the hand there?
No
If a player has the only Posse Token at a location, they then compare their hand to the Rival's hand (the Rival Card with the two cards on either side of the location).
If I gain multiple wild influence, can I choose several different types of influence?
It depends
If multiple X's are displayed in pairs or as a set of three, they must all be taken as the same influence type. However, if there is a number followed by an X (for example, 2X), you can choose several different types of influence.

If I have modified my card at the Sheriff's Office and then participate in a duel, do I take the modification into account?
No
The card modifications at the Sheriff's Office take effect only at the start of Phase 3 (and remain modified until the end of the round).

If I buy a second building card with the "Leftover" spot, can I buy the this card from a location mat where I don't have any posse tokens?
Yes
If a player has a Posse Token at the "Leftover" spot, at the end of the round the player may buy any 1 leftover Building Card, even if they don't have a Posse Token on that Building Card's Mat.
