The Vancardians follow a specific set of logic to determine which cards they play. They don't necessarily try to win all tricks, as there are cases when she tries to play her lowest card.

When the Vancardian follows and she doesn't have a leading suit card, she always plays her lowest-valued card, regardless of its suit. Even is she could win the trick by playing a higher value love card, she doesn't do so.

When a card instructs me to remove stamina from cards, do I lose it permanently?
No
There are no specific "Remove" abilities, but rather some cards have a condition, that you need to "Remove Stamina" from them in order to use their abilities. Such cards have 2 costs and can only be used a limited number times during the round. When you remove stamina this way, it is returnedback to your supply.
When can I resolve my Lose a Trick abilities?
"Lose a Trick" abilities can be used after you lose a trick. These abilities work throughout the round.
When can I resolve my Win a Trick abilities?
"Win a Trick" abilities can be used after you win a trick. These abilities work throughout the round.
When can I resolve my Whenever you Follow abilities?
"Whenever you Follow" abilities can be used during your turns and only when you follow a trick. These abilities work throughout the round.
When can I resolve my Whenever you Lead abilities?
"Whenever you Lead" abilities can be used during your turns and only when you lead a trick. These abilities work throughout the round.
When can I resolve my When Charged abilities?
"When Charged" abilities trigger immediatelly after they are charged. Afterwards, these abilities do nothing that round. Stamina used to charge such abilities remains on the cards until the end of the round.
