Is there a tiebreaker?
Yes
In the event of a tie, the player with the longest Caravan wins the game. If there is still a tie, then tied players share the victory!

How do I count my score?
Each player adds together the points of the Camel cards in their Caravan. The Camel cards that are placed to the left of the Caravan Master are added and score half of the points (rounded down).
Do all players take the same number of actions during the game?
It depends
It might happen that some players might take less actions than others.

When does the game end?
Once the Market cannot be refilled with a new Camel card (because there are no more cards in the Camel deck) the game ends.

Where do I place the Camel I buy?
Into your Caravan
After buying a Camel card, the player immediately adds it to their Caravan.
How many Goods do Camels cost?
The number on a Camel card determines how many Goods cards a player has to spend to acquire it. Remember to check if the Camel requires additional card (taxes). A player may also use two of the same type of Goods cards to replace any one Goods card when buying Camel cards.
Can I buy Camels from the top of the Camel deck?
No
A player may only buy one of the face up Camel cards in the Market.

Is there a limit to how many cards I can have in hand during the game?
No
There is no limit to how many cards a player can have in their hands.
What happens if the Resource deck runs out?
If the Resource deck ever runs out, shuffle the discard pile to form a new Resource deck.
Is a new Goods card revealed as soon as I take a face up card?
Yes
If a face up card is drawn, a replacement card is immediately revealed from the Resource deck. If the Resource deck ever runs out, shuffle the discard pile to form a new Resource deck.
How can I get more Resources?
A player may draw a single face up Gold card or take 2 Goods cards choosing between the face up cards or the face down cards from the Resource deck.
What can I do during my turn?
Take one action
Each turn a player takes one of two possible actions: gathering Resources or buying a Camel.

What happens if I draw a Gold card from the face down Resource deck?
If you draw a Gold card from the face down Resource deck, you can still draw your second Resource card as long as it isn't a face up Gold card.
Can I take a Gold card after buying a value 1 Camel?
Yes
A player can take a Resource card from the deck or any card from face up ones (even the Gold card). If the player takes a face up Resource card, replace it with a new card from the deck.
Which Goods cards can I take after buying a value 1 Camel?
Any Goods card
A player can take a Resource card from the deck or any card from face up ones (even the Gold card). If the player takes a face up Resource card, replace it with a new card from the deck.
Why are value 1 Camels special?
When a player buys a value 1 Camel card (it does not matter if it is added to the Caravan or in front of it) the player gets to take a free Resource card.
What happens if I still have Camels to the left of the Caravan Master at the end of the game?
Such Camels will score half of points (rounded down) at the end of the game.
If a Camel is placed to the left of the Caravan Master can I later add it to my Caravan?
Yes
As soon as the Camel cards to the left of the Caravan Master can be added to the Caravan, the player does so immediately.
What happens if I buy a Camel that can't be added to my Caravan?
If the purchased Camel doesn't match the color or the number of the previous Camel, then it has to be placed to the left of the Caravan Master. This option can only be used if a player can't add the purchased Camel to their Caravan.
Are there any special Camel placement rules?
Yes
Camels are placed to the right of their Caravan Master or previously purchased Camel cards. Any Camel card can be placed after a Caravan Master, however, all other Camels must be of the same color or the same number as the previous Camel.
What is a Caravan?
A Caravan is a row of Camel cards that a player buys during the game. Camels in a player's Caravan are placed to the right of their Caravan Master and must have the same number or color as the previous Camel in the Caravan.
If I buy a Camel by paying an additional tax payment, do I receive more points for it?
No
Even though players have to pay more for Camels with an additional tax payment, they won't score additional points from them at the end of the game.

Is the additional tax payment always associated with the same Camel card color?
No
After a Camel card is bought, all Camel cards are moved to the right so that the first space right next to the Camel deck is free and a new Camel card is revealed from the Camel deck. This means that after every Camel purchase, the color of the Camel cards which require an additional tax payment, may change.

In setup
There are no changes in the rules in a three player game. The only change is during setup. You have to remove 8 random Camel cards before making the Camel deck. That's the only change.

What does the Caravan Master card do?
Nothing
The Caravan Master card is a player's starting card. Its only function is to separate a player's Caravan from the other Camel cards that might score less points at the end of the game.
