Besides Goods, there is one type of special Resource card - the Gold, which can be used as any single Goods card.

However, a player may only draw a single face up Gold card when performing the Gather Resources action & may not take additional Goods cards. This means that a player can't take a face up Gold card if it's their second card to draw.

Note: If a player draws a Gold card from the face down Resource deck, they can still draw their second Resource card as long as it isn't a face up Gold card.

A face up Gold card can be taken, when a player buys a value 1 Camel card.
