A) Take all the white puzzles and shuffle them together to create a white puzzle deck.

B) Take all the black puzzles, shuffle them together and randomly take a number of puzzles according to the table below:

C) Now put both decks in the middle of the table face down and place four puzzles from each deck face up in a row next to it.

D) Create a reserve of pieces in reach of all players.
