The District Tiles represent how each city is laid out. There are a total of 16 District Tiles (double-sided), 4 for each player to assemble their board. In any given game, each player will have the same arrangement of tiles.

Each District Tile has an arrangement of Buildings, where certain ones will be required in your City. The District Tiles have Churches (1), Shafts (2), Markets (3), Coin Bonuses (4), and Vikings (5).
