Tanglewoods: Rose has nine keywords, each represented by an icon, that provide enemies with special powers. There are two types of keywords: Individual and Global.

• Individual Keywords only relate to the enemy they are printed on (or, if on a path card, the enemy in that location). They modify that enemy’s behavior or trigger one-time effects.

• Global Keywords affect all enemies that are active. The modifier reminder cards have active and inactive sides to help you keep track of which global keywords are active at any given time. When an enemy with a global keyword enters play, flip the corresponding card to its active side. Whenever an enemy with a global keyword leaves play, review all of the active enemies to see whether it’s time to flip that card back to its inactive side.
