You are allowed to openly debate all the face-up cards on the table, but you are not allowed to discuss the exact Country cards in your hand.
However, you may say that you have or don’t have cards in hand matching a specific statement without going into details. You are also allowed to talk about different regions, discuss various historical and geographical topics, and debate other things with other players, without directly or indirectly naming countries unless these countries are face-up on the table.
Example: There is a Statement card “Is one of the top 30 rice consumers in the world (per capita)” on the table. You are allowed to say “Do you think there are many countries that eat rice in Central Asia?” and discuss this topic. However, you are not allowed to ask ‘’Do you think the countries near mount Everest eat a lot of rice?’’ as that would leave only two possible countries.
