You can increase the challenge of Tainted Grail using these difficulty rankings.

• Rank 1: Default difficulty. Set up as normal.

• Rank 2: Reduce your hand limit by the number of cards in your inventory.

• Rank 3: The boss activates when there are seven or more enemies in the Menhir Stack.

• Rank 4: In setup, −1 to a stat of your choice.

• Rank 5: In setup, banish one die of each color.

These modifiers are cumulative, so each rank includes the modifiers of the ranks before it. For example, Rank 5 has all modifiers active.
