1. Players choose which one will play with the black stones and which with the white stones (black stones will go first).

2. Set the rope horizontally between the players. Players should be facing each other on opposite sides.

3. Set two boards on either side of the rope so that there is one light and one dark board on both sides of the rope.

4. Place Stones to the boards so that each board has 4 stones of each color. The stones are placed one per square on the edge closest to the player.
