Here is some key components and concepts for the game!

Specialists

Each player takes on the role of a different specialist. Each specialist excels at a particular type of rescue, has a special skill, and starts with their own equipment.

Animals

You’ll rescue a variety of animals, loading them into vehicles, and taking them to shelters where they’ll be safe from harm. Animals come in small, medium, and large sizes. Only the trailer is big enough to hold large animals.

Vehicles

When you rescue animals, you’ll load them into any of the 6 vehicles available. The vehicles carry different amounts of specialists, animals, and equipment and travel at different speeds. Some vehicles can also tow other vehicles.

Shelters

You’ll transfer the animals you’ve rescued into the large and small shelters to keep them safe and to free up room in your vehicles. The shelters will empty out periodically during the game.

Equipment

Equipment helps you succeed at certain rescues. You can buy equipment with certain reward tokens and each player starts with 1 piece of equipment.

Reward Tokens

When you complete a rescue, you’ll collect reward tokens. These represent the positive side effects of time spent in the field. Each player collects their own reward tokens – they can’t be shared.
