Torch Points are used to gain benefits during your climb.
Torch Points are acquired in the following ways:
• When you correctly cheer on the success or failure of another player’s climb.
• Dice end up in the pit zone where your Miniature is.
• You have already acquired the Snake Cards up to the achieved leved, and gain Torch Points instead.
Points are tracked on each player's Torch Point Track. You cannot have more than 12 Torch Points, or less than 0.
During your turn you may spend your Torch Points for the following powers:
1 Torch Point (before a roll): Add +1 to your next result, even if it's a reroll.
2 Torch Points: Use another player's Snake Card ability. The other player must've already acquired the ability. To use this power, place your miniature on the other player's Snake Card which you want to use, and "pay" the Torch Points from your track to the other player's track. You can use this power only once per turn. Take back your miniature at the end of your turn. This ability must be used before or after the roll corresponding to the acquired power.
3 Torch Points (after a roll): Reroll the die.
4 Torch Points (after a roll): Add +1 to your roll.
