When the Hole in the Ice is revealed, the Pawn that just ambushed and received the Hole in the Ice falls through the ice and has to return to its Ship.

The Hole in the Ice is placed on the board where the Pawn was and that square is unusable for the rest of the game. Pawns cannot move into that square anymore, but can move around it with diagonal steps.

Note: If the Polar Bear reveals the Hole in the Ice, the Polar Bear is removed from the game.
