Each round, the current leader selects a number of players to join the quest team. The number of players that must be selected is shown on the tableau (this number depends on the number of players in the game as well as which quest this is). The leader may nominate himself/herself for the team.

The leader indicates which players he has chosen for the team by giving each chosen player a team token.
