Running out of space
If a player takes a painting that doesn't fit on their gallery, they must immediately follow these steps:
- they may give the painting to their assistant.
- if they can't or won't give it to the assistant, they may exchange it for one painting of the same type from the museum. This exchange does not affect the prestige of that painting type.
- if they can't exchange the painting, they must store it beside their board as an excess painting. They then take a 1 point decor tile and place it normally.
