COINS

Immediately after placing a Fountain tile with a coin icon, the player scores 5 points, as long as the water is flowing into the pool with the icon. The coins score only once and only when placed. A coin icon in a pool that does not have water flowing into it will not score, even if the water flow is restored on a later turn. Coins are the only feature that are not included in the Final Rewards step at the end of the game.
