If I have 3 adult cats and a kitten in a row, do I still win?
Yes
If you manage to align 3 of your adult Cats in a row, and in extension of alignment you also have a kitten or two, you do not have to remove 3 cats in a row and graduate them. Instead you can score a win immediately.

What if, on my turn, I manage to align 3 of my adult cats, but also 3 of the opponent's cats?
You win
If you align 3 of your cats, and you also align 3 other player's cats, only you win. Active player's cats are scored/graduated only at the end of their turn.

If I have all 8 pieces on the board, can I remove an adult Cat instead of a kitten?
Yes
After placing all 8 kittens, removing 1 kitten is mandatory. But if your kittens are placed in strategic places, and you don't want to remove any of them, you can also remove an adult Cat and receive no upgrade.

What if, in my turn, I align 3 other player's cats, are they removed at the end of my turn?
No
If a player aligns other player's kittens in its turn, only if they stay aligned until the end of other player's turn, they must be removed and upgraded.

What if I have all 8 pieces on the board AND 3 pieces aligned?
You choose
If you have 3-in-a-row and 8 pieces on the board, then choose which you would activate, 3-in-a-row or any 1 piece.

What if I match 2 completely separate sets of 3 kittens? Do I graduate all 6 of them?
No
If you make 2 separate aligns of 3 pieces, you pick and graduate just 3 of them.

Can I decide NOT to remove my 3-in-a-row pieces?
No
If, at the end of a player's turn, there are at least 3 pieces aligned in a straight line belonging to the current player, 3 of them must be removed from the board and be graduated.

Do I place pieces and remove/upgrade them in the same turn?
Yes
Players always remove and upgrade their pieces at the end of each turn. Players don't need to spend an extra turn in order to do so.

Can I make a chain reaction with moved pieces?
No
Booped pieces never cause any subsequent boops. So chain reactions are not possible.

No
A piece is always moved one space away from the piece causing the boop. This can happen horizontally, vertically, or diagonally.

Yes
Pieces must be booped/moved no matter if they are your own or your opponent's.

Are pieces from Boop the Halls compatible with original Boop game?
Yes
In Boop the Halls there are equal amount of adult cats and kittens, so pieces from this game can be used in the original Boop game. Although Boop the Halls have some extra elements (like Ornaments) that do not exist in the original Boop game.
